About Prostate Centre Europe Gronau
The European Prostate Center Gronau (PZNW) is Europe's most specialised clinic for the treatment of benign and malignant prostate tumours. Founded on the basis of the multidisciplinary St. Antonius Hospital, the centre was ranked among Germany's best medical facilities by Focus Health magazine in 2016.
The clinic operates five Da Vinci robotic-assisted surgery systems — an unprecedented concentration for any urology centre in Europe — giving its surgeons unmatched experience in robot-assisted laparoscopic prostatectomy (RALP). The team does not perform open prostatectomy, as minimally invasive robotic techniques deliver significantly better outcomes: faster tissue healing, shorter rehabilitation, and minimal post-operative pain.
The European Prostate Center treats both benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) and all stages of prostate cancer including locally advanced and difficult cases, accepting patients up to 83 years of age. Diagnostic capabilities include mpMRI-fusion biopsy, PET-CT, PSMA diagnostics, and comprehensive urodynamic studies.
International patient packages are fully all-inclusive: single room accommodation within the hospital, three meals daily, unlimited Wi-Fi, a personal English-speaking patient coordinator throughout the stay, professional psychological support, and a comprehensive treatment plan that includes all examinations, surgery, and post-operative care. The hospital has established a reputation as one of the top destinations worldwide for prostate cancer surgical treatment.
