About Memorial Şişli Hospital

Memorial Şişli Hospital opened its doors in February 2000 as the flagship of Memorial Healthcare Group. Located on the European side of Istanbul in the Şişli district, the hospital covers 53,000 m² and was the first hospital in Turkey — and 21st in the world — to receive JCI accreditation in 2002, just two years after opening. The hospital houses 252 beds, 13 state-of-the-art operating rooms, and 4 intensive care units (cardiovascular, general, coronary, and neonatal). Its Organ Transplantation Center achieves a 90% success rate for liver and kidney transplants. The IVF Center features Turkey's first ISO 15189-accredited reproductive laboratory. The Oncology Department is equipped with TrueBeam STx linear accelerator and IMRT radiotherapy for precision cancer treatment. The Da Vinci Robotic Surgery Center enables minimally invasive procedures across multiple specialties. The Genetics Center and Molecular Biology Laboratory provide advanced diagnostic capabilities. Memorial Şişli is a member of the American Hospital Association and holds multiple quality certifications. It serves international patients from 167 countries annually, with dedicated international patient coordination services including translation, accommodation, and transfer arrangements.
