About Medstar Antalya Hospital

Medstar Antalya Hospital was founded in 2009 as part of the Memorial Health Group, establishing itself as a reference center for oncology, hematology, and stem cell transplantation on Turkey's Mediterranean coast. The hospital covers 18,500 square meters with 124 beds, 33 ICU beds across specialized units (general ICU 23, cardiovascular ICU 10, coronary ICU 6, neonatal ICU 9-10), and 5 operating rooms. The facility holds JCI accreditation, WHO recognition, EAMC membership, and a 5-star/'A' grade rating from the Turkish Ministry of Health. The flagship oncology and hematology program places Medstar among Turkey's top 5 stem cell transplant centers and among the top 20 in Europe. Over 1,000 bone marrow transplants have been performed with a 95%+ success rate. The cancer treatment program encompasses medical oncology, radiation oncology with IGRT and RGRT technology, pediatric oncology, and a chemotherapy unit integrated with an Arts Center featuring art therapy, music therapy, and yoga programs. Surgical specialties include cardiovascular surgery, neurosurgery, general surgery, pediatric surgery, and orthopedics. Medical departments cover cardiology with a coronary care unit, gastroenterology, endocrinology, dermatology, psychiatry, and comprehensive diagnostic services including MRI, CT, PET-CT, and ultrasound. The hospital has earned multiple prestigious awards including Best Hospital by the Turkish Medical Association (2009 and 2010) and Best Hospital by Forbes Turkey for 4 consecutive years. It serves as a contracted SSI hospital for cardiology, cardiovascular surgery, and oncology departments. Located in the Muratpaşa district of Antalya, Medstar provides 24/7 emergency services, international patient coordination, and comprehensive medical tourism support.
