Liv Hospital opened in 2013 with its Ulus campus in Istanbul and has since expanded to multiple locations including Vadistanbul and Topkapi. The hospital network now spans 1,316 beds, 64 operating rooms, and serves 331,500 patients annually with 13,200 surgeries per year, welcoming patients from over 180 countries. As the 4th certified Da Vinci Robotic Surgery Center in the world (after three US centers), Liv Hospital is a global leader in minimally invasive surgical techniques. The Bariatric Surgery Department was the first in Turkey to receive the Center of Excellence certification, and also holds the world's first Colorectal Surgery Centre of Excellence title. The Cardiac Surgery Department has performed over 3,235 heart surgeries with a 96% survival rate. The Bone Marrow Transplantation Unit has completed over 1,100 procedures. The Oncology Department features TrueBeam STx radiotherapy, immunotherapy, and nuclear medicine capabilities, including Europe's only Positron Emission Mammography (PEM) device. Liv Hospital established Turkey's first GMP-standard Regenerative Medicine and Stem Cell Therapy center. The Orthopedics Department offers MAKOplasty robotic knee replacement technology. The hospital holds JCI accreditation and ISO 9001 certification from TUV Nord, and received the Hospital Golden Stethoscope Award in 2013.
