About Bayındır Söğütözü Hospital

Bayındır Söğütözü Hospital opened in 1992 as a leading private healthcare institution in Ankara. As of August 2025, it joined the Acıbadem Healthcare Group and now operates under the Acıbadem brand while maintaining its established standards and reputation. The hospital covers approximately 15,570-18,650 square meters with 131-169 beds, 30-35 modern ICU beds equipped with life-support systems, and 6-7 fully equipped operating rooms with filtered ventilation systems for infection control. Emergency services are available 24/7. Bayındır Söğütözü holds several distinctions: it is a Ministry of Health-certified Heart Centre offering percutaneous coronary interventions (balloon, stent), electrophysiological studies, and ablation procedures. In 2005, it established the first private hospital bone marrow transplant center in Turkey, serving both domestic and international patients with strict infection-control protocols. It was also the first JCI-accredited oncology center in Ankara. The hospital is one of Turkey's first private hospitals to offer both non-vascular and vascular interventional radiological procedures. It provides specialized services in general surgery, neurosurgery, head and neck surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, orthopedics and traumatology, and pediatrics with a dedicated inpatient service. JCI accreditation has been maintained continuously since 2006, with renewals in 2009, 2012, 2015, and ongoing. The hospital is located in the Söğütözü district of Çankaya, Ankara, accessible via the Kızılay-Koru metro line (Söğütözü stop) and multiple bus routes from the city center.
