Acıbadem Kent Hospital (formerly Kent Health Group) was acquired by Acıbadem Healthcare Group in February 2023. Located in the Çiğli district of Izmir, the hospital opened in 2004 and covers 40,000 square meters indoors. The facility features 119 standard rooms designed for patients and companions, 4 deluxe suites with separate areas and two WC/bathrooms with private nurse support, and 1 king suite with apartment-style accommodation. Seven operating rooms include 2 large theaters (55 sqm) for cardiovascular and organ transplant surgeries and 5 theaters (48 sqm) for minimally invasive procedures. The Kent Oncology Center, spanning 18,000 square meters, operates in partnership with Houston Methodist Hospital for second opinions, joint treatment protocols, and quality standards. Services include medical oncology, radiation oncology, nuclear medicine, and oncological surgery. Core specialties include cardiology and cardiovascular surgery, comprehensive oncology, orthopedics and traumatology, neurology and neurosurgery with interventional neuroradiology, urology, pediatrics (nephrology, cardiology, allergy), pulmonary medicine, gastroenterology, endocrinology, rheumatology, allergy and immunology, dermatology, infectious diseases, ENT, pain management (algology), and physiotherapy and rehabilitation. A planned renovation and expansion project aims to add 400,000 square feet to the existing 800,000 square foot campus, further enhancing the hospital's capabilities as Izmir's leading private healthcare facility.
